Stake & run a node

Power the network. Get rewarded for it.

Every block on Lynx is produced by people like you, staking their LYNX on a desktop, a cloud server or a Raspberry Pi in a closet. No mining rigs and no huge power bill. Just a quiet machine helping to keep the world's data safe.

Choose your setup

Three ways to start staking.

Easiest

Desktop Qt wallet

A point-and-click wallet for Windows and Linux, with macOS coming soon. Install it, let it sync, deposit LYNX and switch on staking.

Always on

Cloud server (VPS)

Rent the smallest Linux server you can find and paste one command. It stakes around the clock while you sleep.

Tinkerer

Raspberry Pi

A Pi with 2 GB of RAM makes a great silent staking box. Even a tiny Pi Zero 2 W can run a single node, and some people run a whole farm of them off one USB hub.

Spark installer

One line. Your node is live.

Spark turns a fresh Linux machine into a fully configured Lynx node. It installs the right software, sets up the firewall, locks down remote access, schedules wallet backups and adds simple shortcuts that are quick and easy to remember.

  • Works on Debian, Ubuntu and Raspberry Pi OS
  • Runs several chains on one machine
  • Load stays under 1%, and 2 GB of RAM is enough after the first sync

# as root on your server
bash <(curl -sL install.getlynx.io)

# a few minutes later…
✓ Lynx daemon installed
✓ Firewall configured
✓ Backups scheduled
→ log out, log back in, type h

How staking works

Simple rules, steady rhythm.

5 min

Target time between blocks.

30

Blocks (about 2.5 hours) before new coins can stake.

1 LYNX

Block reward to the staker who wins the block.

1 core

Is all you need, with 32 GB of disk space.

Good to know: Staking rewards depend on how much you stake and on network conditions, and they aren't guaranteed.

Staking every chain? 2 GB of RAM is enough for one chain. To stake all 12 current chains with Spark on a single VPS or Raspberry Pi, go with 4 GB.
